Acupuncture

The Japanese style of Acupuncture is both gentle and powerful. Many gravitate towards this style as the needles are small and it is mostly a pain free style of needling. People will often report immediate relaxation and then a subtle shift and amelioration and improvement of symptoms both immediately and in the days following the treatment.

Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese Herbal Medicine can be used alone or alongside Acupuncture for a variety of differing conditions and symptoms. We commonly use herbs for support with fertility, gynaecological symptoms, fatigue, postpartum support and recovery from illness, pain, stress, sleep and much more. Chinese herbal medicine used alongside Acupuncture and the correct nutritional and lifestyle advice, will help you feel better sooner.

Cupping

Cupping can be used to promote circulation, relaxation, reduce muscle tension, inflammation and promote health. It should be noted that cupping may result in light to dark areas (bruising) where applied, but this usually disappears within the week.

Mobile cupping - is much like a massage with oil, where the cups will be moved and massaged along the meridians on the back.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion (aka moxa) may be used in your treatment, where indicated. This technique can help with pain and cold in the body, as well as helping to increase energy. It is gentle and subtle and often has a mild herbal fragrance.
